Ethics & Sustainability
Ethics
True luxury in cosmetics enriches the body, mind, and spirit, achieved through skincare essentials that are environmentally and socially responsible.
Founded on ethics and sustainability, Trinitae has led initiatives to engage Jordan’s rural communities, particularly by employing women. We train groups of Jordanian women in the countryside to make soaps, which are sold at the Soap House in Amman, alongside their handmade gift bags and soap packages.
Trinitae’s commitment to ethics is evident in our manufacturing processes. All Trinitae soaps are produced in Jordan from raw materials, providing jobs to Jordanians. Our practices benefit rural communities where essential ingredients like rosemary, thyme, and citrus fruits are grown and harvested.
Sustainability
Trinitae values the natural materials that make our products special, and with this appreciation comes a commitment to environmental protection.
All Trinitae products are packaged in environmentally friendly materials, from handmade paper gift boxes to recyclable plastic containers. We employ local artisans to handcraft gift bags and soap accessories.
Using local ingredients reduces pollution associated with shipping and manufacturing, and our boutique-sized operations help preserve Jordan’s precious resources.
The Dead Sea
The Dead Sea, one of Jordan’s remarkable natural wonders and among the world’s most enigmatic sites, is situated at Earth’s lowest point, more than 400 meters below sea level. Getting there from Amman feels like a journey back in time, winding through mountainous roads flanked by sun-bleached rocks. As you descend, the air becomes hot and humid. Approaching the shoreline, you behold a vast expanse of serene, cerulean water encircled by rugged hills and Jordan’s fertile Ghor region, dotted with renowned spas and resorts. Along the coast, the sea’s hues shift from deep azure to turquoise and eventually to white, where clear waters meet mineral-rich salt deposits, forming small pools and surreal salt formations.
For millennia, the Dead Sea has drawn visitors seeking its therapeutic benefits; King Herod the Great even erected one of the world’s earliest health spas here to capitalize on its warm, curative waters. With 22 diverse minerals in its mud and salts, the Dead Sea offers everything needed to rejuvenate the body and mind, providing relief for conditions like osteoarthritis and psoriasis. Studies confirm that its nutrient-rich black mud and mineral-enriched salts offer numerous health benefits, from soothing joints to revitalizing skin.
In crafting our natural soaps and cosmetics, we integrate Dead Sea salts and minerals into every product. Our formulations include exfoliating salts to boost circulation, salt crystals rich in magnesium, potassium, calcium chloride, and bromides for skin enrichment, and black mud for deep moisture and health benefits. Trinitae products combine these healing minerals with aromatic essential oils and therapeutic herbs to rejuvenate without leaving unwanted residues. Committed to sustainability and leveraging Jordan’s natural resources, we collaborate with local communities to minimize our impact and preserve the Dead Sea’s ecosystem for future generations to cherish.
